With a strong focus on sustainability,
disposable cup with lid is increasingly used to serve drinks, taste wine, etc. We have been helping customers to make holiday disposable cups with lids and also helping companies to make samples in supermarkets. Disposable cups with lids are a great way for spirits brands to promote their products, as
disposable paper cups can exactly match the look and story the brand is trying to tell throughout the design.
Use of disposable cup with lid
Not only are disposable lids great for design opportunities, but because they come in so many different sizes, they can be used both to provide some sample tasting and to serve mixed drinks with alcohol. Unlike plastic cups made from plastic alone,
disposable cups with lids are coated with a small layer of plastic while the rest of the cup is paper. Then there are a few things to keep in mind when switching from plastic cups to disposable ones with lids. To avoid the situation where your disposable lids start leaking, you need to know a few things just. This is due to a number of different factors causing the plastic and paper in disposable lids to start dissolving.
Disposable cups with lids are suitable for different alcohols
When it comes to alcohol percentages, it is important to know that standard disposable lids should mainly be used only to provide alcohol with percentages less than 5%. We found that this is the normal threshold. But we are also able to make disposable lids that can be used to hold more than 5% alcohol by volume -- we already make these types of disposable lids for rum, vodka and other unmixed spirits.
We have some customers who have been using our standard
disposable cups with lids to serve strong alcohol without having to mix it in our standard disposable cups with lids without any problems with cup leaks. But these are the cases where our customers have been sampling, and the drinks run out quickly after being poured.
Another situation where our standard disposable lids are very suitable is when they are used to serve mixed drinks, we all help many beverage businesses and other alcohol brands around the world to make disposable lids to serve drinks for events they host or attend.
PLA film and PE film
If you want to serve alcohol in disposable lids, another major factor to consider is the coating on disposable lids. There are two types of coatings; PLA coating and PE coating. PLA coating is a biodegradable coating, so disposable cups with lids can be degraded in industrial compost. PE coating is the standard plastic coating used in almost all
disposable cups with lids.
It is important to know the difference between these two disposable lids because PE coating is stronger than PLA coating, so ensure that disposable lids are watertight when using them. Then PE coated disposable cup with lid is better, the higher the alcohol content, the more important it is to choose PE coated disposable cup with lid. Our alcohol proof disposable cups with lids can only be made with PE coating.?
Disposable cups with lids are a great way to showcase your brand and serve your products. However, if you are not careful in choosing
disposable cup with lid, it could end up being a bad experience for those who taste your products in leaky disposable cups with lids. Two things to keep in mind about alcohol and disposable lids are that you should ask for an alcohol-proof disposable cup if your alcohol concentration exceeds 5%. Also keep in mind that PLA coatings are not as strong as PE coatings in terms of alcohol percentage.
